Our Mission

Phoenix Children's has provided world-class health care to children and families in Arizona for 40 years. Since its founding in 1983, it has grown into one of the nation's largest pediatric health systems.

In 2022, Phoenix Children's was named one of U.S. News & World Report's Best Children's Hospitals for the 12th consecutive year. The health system also earned recognition as the top children's hospital in Arizona for the second consecutive year.

Phoenix Children's is building on these achievements as it continues to invest in the people, research, technologies and programs that make it a destination hospital. That means continuing to recruit physician-scientists who are shaping the future of pediatric medicine; foster discoveries that improve the quality and length of children's lives; establish groundbreaking destination programs that attract patients from around the world; and drive innovations that give ill and injured children hope beyond their wildest dreams.
